HOSPITALITY PROJECT
The cubes are based on the old street pattern uncovered on the site in the obligatory archaeological dig before development in this historic setting – the ancient site informing the architecture of today.
The original Potthouse was on the site 350 years ago where world famous china was made and exported to Europe.
The seating cubes are separated from the rest of the bars by glass floors over three levels. This allows views both vertically and horizontally throughout the bar complex. The building is cast from white concrete with glazed areas formed from translucent reglit glass planks. All internal floors are polished black concrete. Bespoke tables and chairs are formed from white concrete and oak.
At night the building glows creating a modern beacon within its historic setting.
