HOSPITALITY PROJECT
The concept was a bustling narrow Indian street filled with stalls with haphazard overhead lighting – based on a recent trip to Old Delhi. With clean modern materials and simple lines, the space is divided up by timber slatted tea rooms creating a waiting area and private dining areas.
The main dining space is illuminated by 500 LED stalks overhead, reflecting the chaotic illegal electrical cabling strewn above the Indian streetscape. The glowing engraved Corian bar, welcoming customers in Bengali, wraps around the L-shaped space, uniting the restaurant.
